2017: conducted a workshop presentation titled, ‘Helping Children with Sensory Issues adjust to learning environments,’ at Raising Happy Kids: Nurture Your Child’s Education Expo, Gold Coast, Australia.
2018: invited to attend the 2018 Preschool Education Expo in Guangzhou, China which was a wonderful experience showcasing my Ricardo Reading Mouse® English literacy resources to Chinese kindergarten & preschool owners, principals and teachers. I have since been asked to write training manuals using my resources for teaching staff in China.
2018 – 2020: Prior to COVID, I was regularly enjoying conducting local in-person trainings and workshops for parents, educators and library staff across the libraries of Logan City on ‘Helping your child learn to read, write & spell confidently!’ and ‘Helping children with sensory issues adjust to learning environments.’
2019: invited to speak to parents of prep-aged students at a local school on ‘Gross Motor Skill Developmental Milestones and Successful School-Transition.’
2019 – 2020: invited to conduct several online trainings for Twink Teach Australia Parents and Teachers groups on topics such as handwriting, sensory processing and surviving & thriving during lockdown
2020: invited to present an online staff training titled, ‘Run, Jump, Play, Read, Write, Spell’ for Florida Family Child Care Home Association in the US
2020: invited as a children’s book author and songwriter to sing my songs and read my ABC Picture Book in a local Mums and Bubs Logan online playgroup which was an absolute delight!
2020 – 2021: invited to speak via Zoom to university English Major Teaching Students in Costa Rica
2020 – 2021: arranged and hosted two very successful CPD training webinars for therapists and teachers on ‘Handwriting & CO-OP: Evidence to Practice with presenter, Assoc. Professor Elspeth Froude (PhD).
2021: Invited to conduct a parent and staff training titled ‘Run, Jump, Play, Read, Write, Spell – Let’s Get School-Ready!’ at a local kindergarten.
