How do I access my digital product?
You have access to your digital product for 12 months from the date of purchase. You can freely access your digital product to download at any time by logging into your account.
Does my digital product have an expiry date for download?
Your purchase will remain available in your account for download at anytime within a 12 month period from the date of purchase. After this time, it will expire and no longer be accessible.
Please be sure to download it to your device upon purchase or anytime before this expiry time or you will need to re-purchase it to gain access.

Who developed Ricardo’s English Word Grid™?
Melissa Savonoff, CEO/Founder of Ricardo Reading Mouse® developed and designed the unique layout of the English Word Grid™ to assist children learn to read and spell.
What age is Ricardo’s English Word Grid™ Volume 1 for?
Recommended for ages 5-7 years depending on individual school curriculums. Please see alignments with several National Literacy Curriculums here.
How does Ricardo’s English Word Grid™ Volume 1 work?
It uses a systematic phonics-based approach which is an evidence-informed approach. It has the onset or beginning sound listed vertically in the grid and the rime or subsequent short vowel and final consonant or rhyming word family ending sound listed horizontally across the grid.
Just as in co-ordinates on a mapping grid, when a child goes across with the beginning sound and down with the rime or ending sound, a word is located or formed in the grid.
Using onset and rime, can help children learn to decode new words when they are learning to read and then also when they are learning to write them down for spelling. To see a child using the word grid, click here to view a short video!

Troubleshooting
I can’t download or start my app?
Firstly, check the storage capacity on your device via settings to confirm you have enough space remaining on the device to download the app.
If not, make some room and try again! You might also like to re-start your device before trying again. See below for further restart instructions.
I have no sound?
After the app is fully started, check your volume is up. Then check the mute switch on the side of your device. It should be switched off. You might also like to restart your device:
For iPhone: hold the power button on top of the device until you see SLIDE TO POWER OFF, then power off and wait until it shuts down. After about 10 secs, restart your device.
For iPad: at the same time press the hold and home buttons. Hold both buttons down together until the screen flashes and goes dark. Wait about 10 seconds and then restart the iPad by pressing the hold button until you see the Apple icon appear.
